To access SC Analytics while logged into the ACD, the account must be granted certain permissions.

Accounts fall into 3 categories:
- Viewer: basic account for agents
- View LookML dashboards
- View Looks
- View\explore user dashboards
- Download data as pdf
- Drill down into data
- User: superuser-type account for supervisors
- View LookML dashboards
- View Looks
- View\explore user dashboards
- Create and save new looks and dashboards
- Download data or send to webhook, S3, SFTP
- Drill down into data
- Schedule emailed reports
- View the SQL
- Manage user spaces
- Administrator: highest-level account that is reserved for SingleComm developers
2. Step-by-Step Permissions Assignment
Permissions can be set or modified on any existing SC ACD account. For more details on how to set up an account from scratch, please see the article titled Creating a SC ACD Account.
To set permissions on a user account, you must be logged in as either a Supervisor or an Administrator.
- Log in to SC ACD
- Access the user account you wish to modify
- Click on Agent Management in the left-hand navigation bar
- Click the Agent ID # of the user
- Go to the Groups tab
- Add the user to New Group Assignment / Looker Users
*Weight value is not factored in this instance and can be left at the default (0). - Click Update to save the group
- Click on Agent Management in the left-hand navigation bar
*All SC ACD clusters will have the following:
- Looker Users Group
- Reports module in Access Control Entries
- Looker Users added to Reports module in Access Control List
- Click the Reports Access tab
- The Looker Client ID (credential) and Looker Client Secret (API key) determine what permission level will be granted, and will be supplied to you by your Account Executive.
Multiple users can share the same ID and Secret if they will have the same permissions. - Click Update to save the ID and Secret.
- Click the Reports Access tab
Users that have a login for the SC Analytics platform (https://analytics.singlecomm.net/login) will not be able to login simultaneously via the ACD.
Once these permissions have been added, the Reports option will appear in the left-hand navigation bar
